Understand Yourself and Others

Have you ever wanted to better understand and appreciate yourself and others?  Do you want to build productive relationships, reduce stress, and achieve better outcomes faster?

Learning Partners has developed a set of A5 laminated cards for both introductory and more advanced knowledge of the most widely used framework for understanding personality, Myers Briggs Type Inventory (MBTI).  You can use them with colleagues, family, and friends.

Why are the cards different?

Many people know their MBTI type, but the lack of a practical and accessible tool means they have difficulty applying the knowledge and really benefitting from using this great framework. The time and investment spent training individually, in teams, and in organisations can be wasted if there is no follow up.

Why Emotional Logic?

Emotional Logic is the fundamental system by which your values generate your emotions, positive and negative, that then filter your data for rational thinking, resulting in your motivation, opinions, decisions, and actions. The cards give well-researched values for preferences, temperaments and types, enabling a deeper insight into people and behaviour.

What can you do with the cards?

4 Instructions Cards: these show you how best to use the card set and the specific functions of each type of card

4 Preference Cards: these help you to work out someone's MBTI type from the descriptions of the four preference pairs and what they value

2 Adapting Cards: these give advice based on your own preferences for dealing with people with other preferences

4 Temperament Cards: these help you to understand the driving values and characteristics of each of the 4 temperaments and learn how to adapt to them (these are particularly good for influencing and working with teams and culture)

16 Type Cards: These help you to understand the driving values and characteristics of each of the 16 MBTI types and learn how to adapt to them.
